You will find that there is plenty to do at the Somme Nursing home as well as regular visits by various service providers we often have special events.

There is an ongoing programme of activities which is tailored to suit individual needs organised by our Activities coordinator. Visits, entertainment and assistance are provided by the many organisations for ex-service persons such as the "Not Forgotten" Association, SSAFA and the Disabled Ex-Serviceman's Association.
A choice of menus is available to all residents. The catering manager visits residents regularly and endeavours to facilitate likes and dislikes in relation to food. Special diets can be catered for.
A hairdresser visits the Home regularly. Charges are moderate.
A qualified Podiatrist visits the Home on a regular basis and on request. There is an additional charge for this service.
